| What am i doing I ask myself some days! Thursday was roll around in the mud day. Trying to save the world going home to home while my car is about to float down the street, using a flashlight to conduct an interview in a home that just lost power, having to get in the passenger door because i couldn't wade through the river on the other side while holding my umbrella, rolling my suitcase to unknown apartment complexes back entries trying to find apartments that i'm half scared to go into!!!!! Ask me later.... | | |
| Well last night was an unplanned date night. Darkness. Candles. Holding hands sitting on the couch listening to the rain. Went for a drive after the storm. Saw the sky and wonder. Back home. Cool (ish) breeze through the windows. Quiet. Rest. Peace.

| This weekend my "little sister's" daughter is graduating from high school. i got my little sister from the Big Brothers and Sisters program when she was 10 years old. She is now 37. She did not graduate high school, but got a GED. Her daughter has a 10 month old girl, but has worked very hard to graduate and now plans to go to nursing school. This will be a very emotional day for my sister and i will be there with her.
This weekend is just another reminder to me to be there for the girls and women in my life. And we need a lot of help, especially with all the mother/daughter issues and women issues in general..... but we have to keep being there.
